Don’t we have special battery coolant for RC cars? they are so much fun but we have to preserve them also, its a sophisticated device to entertain you.I also would like to know how to improve the performance of RC cars over a period of time?

It imperrative, with all rc cars, that batteries, motors and engines run as cool as possible.

I remember from when I was younger there was a tip where you put your batteries in the fridge before using them so they would perform better.

It is also important to let not overheat nitro rc car engines as they risk seizing where the piston expands and seizes in the engine bore.

To prevent this happening, avoid using to high nito levels in fuel, especially in the heat. The higher the level of nitro in the fuel, the less lubrication there is so there is more chance of the engine over heating.

Cheers

Yes, and that is true of all batteries. I keep all my batteries in the refrigerator. They last longer that way.

One tip I have heard if you are using an electric rc car in the heat is to keep the battery packs cool.

Apparently, putting them in the fridge before use means the battery will perform better as cooler the battery the more performance it will give!
