Last time I talked about the pros and cons of the Tomy BitChar-6 Micro Remote Control Car, this time I want to move on to an RC vehicle that is designed for adults, the Megatech MTC 7802 Nitro Porsche. This high octane RC drift car is designed for adults over 18 years of age and retails for about $488.43, but I have seen it for under $362.

The Megatech MTC 7802 Nitro Porsche is a great gift for car lovers, especially Porsche lovers. It can reach speeds up to 55 miles per hour and comes with a 75 mHz AM receiver battery box. It is made from quality parts like: a four wheel shaft drive and an adjustable two speed Detrin Gears Transmission. This is a heavy RC model weighing in at 11 and a half pounds.

While I like the basic design and look of this model there are a couple of issues that this model has that could be better. First of all it is an expensive toy, priced at nearly $500. I understand that the high speed RC models are more expensive, but this seems excessively pricey. Next it doesn’t come with the Nitro Gas Powered Performance Pack that you need, or the 12 AA batteries needed. In my opinion, for $500 they could at least throw in the AA batteries.
