Wrapping RC Cars Hobby Gifts

There is less than a week left in the holiday shopping season. By now you most likely have all the gifts that you have ordered, like scale car models like the 1:64 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Motorsport Editions, as well as the items that you bought at local stores. If you haven’t finished your shopping yet there is still time to rush order items and to go shopping a few more times before the big day.

If you have all, or most of your holiday gifts already in hand, then your next challenge will be to wrap your gifts. Most RC cars and associated products are going to be fairly easy to wrap as they come in boxes. These gifts can be wrapped using NASCAR themed gift wrap or car themed gift wrap. You can trim out these gifts with bows and ribbons. If you are interested in a unique gift tag then consider using a car themed ornament.

If you want to be a little trickier with your gift wrap, or if you want to keep your kids or loved ones from guessing what their gift is, then there are things you can do to mask what’s in the box. The first option is to place the items in a larger box and to weigh it down with things like rocks, bricks or things that rattle. The second option is to tape odd shaped objects to the original box before wrapping it. For example, you can tape toilet paper rolls to the box to create a unique shape before wrapping it. This will keep the gift’s recipient guessing for a long time.

    Nascar Racing…

Most stock car races follow standard NASCAR qualifying to set their field of cars, but when you’re the richest prize and biggest fame race like the Daytona 500, you can do things your own way……

I mean the RC car will be suitable gift for boys. My little bro, when he was 9 – 10 years old, kept playing his little RC cars all the time. He even went to the competition. That car made him interested in electronic things since he had to fine tune the engine to beat the competitor. He found his career path since then.

I have definitely tried to put larger gifts for my niece in a bigger box so that she has no idea what I’m giving her, and it makes sense if you’re giving the gift of cars because they have such a distinctive shape.

  11. alex from ABC Office Says:

If you’re trying to make it difficult to guess what’s inside, it’s fun to put your gift inside a box, then put that box into a larger box, and keep repeating the process until you end up with something that looks like a much larger present than it really is. Plus, it makes the process of opening the gift much more entertaining and time consuming for the person receiving the gift.

Cool post, sounds very interesting I can’t wait for Christmas holidays and birthdays and I hope someone send me a gift of car wrap by NASCAR theme :)

  13. Matthew from Shredding Services Chicago Says:

How long before we start to see the Nascar themed holiday gifts this year? They seem to start popping up earlier and earlier every year it seems like.

  14. Dave from Chicago Bachelor Parties Says:

I always try and use a bigger or more oddly shaped box so the people receiving the gifts do not know what it is until the very last second. The surprise is the best part.

  15. Car Loans Says:

Interesting ideas … but I actually favor the complete opposite method, just popping the gift in a bag so that there is no stickytaping to be done, no ripped paper clogging up the recycling, and the bag can be re-used if you’ve kept it nice and neat. I always feel that excessive wrapping and other masking ideas like putting toilet paper rolls on the outside of the box build the gift up too much in their minds … if it isn’t a hundred percent what they wanted then you’re setting up for disappointment. How about wrapping in rags for the workshop? Functional, cheap and definitely not disappointing :-)

Does anyone know if these are appropriate for children (10 years old)? I almost want to get one to play with for myself!

  17. sunshine Says:

Yes, a 10 year old can manuever these RC cars.

  18. sunshine Says:

Of course they have advertisements, just like they do at Indi 500 and Nascar racing cars!

  19. Henzel from family hobbies Says:

Whenever we buy gifts for our son, we just wrap it in a glossy gift wrapper. With or without gift wrapper, they’ll surely love those RC toys.

  20. Mark from toilet repair Says:

My son got me a diecast Earnhardt car for Christmas to go along with a small Nascar collection I have, they are very nice.

This is a good step to save paper. And will save the rain forests in Indonesia. Moreover, this will reduce the burden on the back of elementary school students. Of course this will make the traditional printing companies and governments in the third world into a panic because of their unpreparedness of information technology. . .
