Best time of the year for holiday deals on RC cars and toys…

It is the middle of December and there are only 10 days left until Christmas. This is the perfect time to order your RC cars and toys online. You still have plenty of time to get your items shipped to you without having to pay for expedited shipping services. It is also the perfect time to take advantage of holiday discounts.

This year there are a couple of RC gift trends that you will want to look into. The first trend is NASCAR RC models. These models feature both drivers of the past and of the present. There are a lot of great NASCAR RC models to choose between, many of which are highly collectable.

When selecting a collectible RC toy or model car for investment purposes you need to make sure you research what you are buying. You will want to look at how previous items in the line have done in terms of valuation and you will also want to research what collectors are buying.

The second trend this year is character RC car collectibles. These collectibles feature characters and logos from the top media enterprises of 2009. Look for Twilight, Harry Potter and other new stars to shine on collectible models.

While new toys are always fun to play with and to buy for gifts they are not your only option. Classical RC toys are also a good option for gift giving. RC model trains, Disney RC cars and other favorites are sure to please kids and kids at heart.

Happy Holidays and I’ll see you in 2010!

The first thing that you should consider when deciding to by a RC Model is. Who are you purchasing it for? If it is for people under 14 years of age, maybe you should consider looking for battery powered models instead. And there is a large range of battery powered models available.

I’ve just bought a battery operated RC helicopter for my son last Christmas and he’s totally enjoying it as much as I do. For starters I suggest you get the battery operated RC toys first, it’s low maintenance and in my own opinion much easier to fix if it breaks down.

Thats some quality basics there, already know some of that, but you can always learn more. I doubt a “kid” could put together such information as dolphin278 suggested. Maybe he’s just attempting to be “controversial? lol

A refreshed version of either the Aston Martin DB9 or DBS has been spotting working out at the Nurburgring, likely in preparation for a debut in Paris this September. Up front the lower fascia has been reshaped with a single wider lower opening while a pair of DBS-style air extractors are added to the hood. Both of those point to a bump in output, likely in the range of 10-20 horsepower although it could be considerably more if Aston Martin decides to add something like direct injection to the 6.0-liter V12.

I used to love RC cars. My friend had a sweet gas powered one, and we always took it off-roading in the trails by our house. These days, those RC car/trucks are getting out of control! I saw one the other day with shock suspension, rims, window tint, and traveled at like 25mph… Pretty cool
