Create Your Own Adventures With Ford RC Vehicles

Would you like to own a classic Ford vehicle, like a 1960s Mustang or 1950 Mercury? And would you rather not pay tens of thousands of dollars to do so? If this is the case, then Ford remote control cars are a great choice for you. Whether you prefer a remote control toy car or a hobby-grade RC car, there are Ford vehicles out there to suit your tastes.

A lot of the less expensive Ford remote control cars out there are electric RC cars -- which won't give you as many hassles and won't impose as many maintenance requirements as a nitro car or gas car. Plus, you'll be able to choose the size you want; for example, you can get a 1/8th scale Muscle Machines 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302, or you can opt for the much smaller 1/28th scale XMods RC cars-- whose Classic series features a 1965 Ford Mustang.

The 1/8th scale 1969 Mustang is a great buy at around $50; it's an electric RC car, but it's designed to replicate the sounds of an authentic Ford engine. This RC car is ready-to-run-- great for beginners who can just open the package, insert the included 9.6-volt rechargeable battery, and experience the thrill of operating a classic Ford car. The 1969 Mustang also has functioning headlights, a full-function transmitter, and a shiny yellow coat of paint that adds to its stylistic appeal.

A great Ford remote control car that you might want to consider if you're looking for a bargain purchase is the 1/16th scale 1966 Mustang GT350, made by Muscle Machines. This $24 RC model car is also ready-to-run, equipped with headlights you can light up, and painted in a cool blue color. Its interior is intricately modeled after the actual 1966 Mustang; this radio control car also features an independent spring suspension system to enable it to run smoothly.

If you're into rarer Ford models, you can find Ford remote control cars that will delight you as well. Consider, for instance, the 1950 Ford Mercury RC car. This 17-inch car comes in a red or a green color; you can even order one of each and race the cars with a friend. Ordering a set of two Ford Mercury cars will enable you to get the cars set to two distinct radio frequencies and thus enable them to be run simultaneously. These are quite rare models and are in high demand, so you'll have to pay a bit more for them: around $110. But if you or anyone you know is fascinated by classic Ford vehicles, the Mercury will bring immense satisfaction and be a great purchase at that price.
