They all offer different power plant options, scales, and after market parts for your kit. A lot of them even offer ready to run options for the novice.

Our favorite experience with 1/4 scale rc cars has been racing them around an 1/4 mile oval track. We were able to step on the gas and let it fly! We even had a friend there who challenged us to a race. Even though we didn't win, we sure did have fun. Our vehicles went well beyond 50 miles per hour. It was a blast.
